What is Tribal Survivor?

Tribal Survivor is an ORG (online reality game) based off of the reality TV show.  16 castaways from all over North America used the internet to play in Survivor but over the web.  However Tribal Survivor is different from other Survivor games for three things; Effort Points, Tribe Idols, and Tribe Chiefs.

Effort Points

Effort points are points that a player can earn (either for his tribe or individually. Players earn points by posting confessionals, posting chat logs, video confessionals, or anything that shows players contributing to the game. Tribes also win effort points for winning challenges. During pre-merge portion of the game there will be one challenge based solely on how many effort points a tribe has earned and how many effort points a tribe member wishes to wager to their tribe’s bank.  Post-merge all effort points are earned individually and there was a Survivor Auction that the players can bid on individual boosts or items in the game.

Tribal Idols

After every immunity challenge the winning tribe picks one tribal idol. Half of the idols in the game have a specific twist / game change attached to the idol; the other half has nothing attached to them. Whatever idol is picked, the new twist will go into effect immediately exactly as written. The idol that is picked will no longer be available and will be destroyed.

Each letter/number combination represent a specific idol and the tribe chief of the winning tribe picks the number and the host will read the twist or game change that applies to the idol.

Tribe Chief

For each tribe there is a specific person that was designated as Tribe Chief.  The Tribe Chief is the one that is “in charge” for that round.  The chief is the person who sends in who sits out of challenges, who sends in anything that is required for immunity challenges.  If his or her tribe loses the immunity challenge they get a choice to take individual immunity at the upcoming tribal council or give their tribe effort points in replacement for the individual immunity.
